½ cup butter
¾ cup honey
2 eggs beaten
1½ teaspoon vanilla
3½ cups whole wheat flour
¾ teaspoon baking powder
½ tablespoon cinnamon
½ tablespoon nutmeg
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, macadamia, almonds)
1 cup raisins or chopped dried fruit (apricots, pineapple dates, apples, mangos)
Cream the butter, honey and eggs. Add vanilla.
Combine flour with other dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture.
Form the dough into small balls with fingers or spoon; press down in the center of the dough
ball about half way and fill with nuts and fruit treasures. Press dough over the top to hide the
