Stomping in the New Year!

Here are some fun pictures of the Red Robin class "stomping out" last year. During the calendar year, each day their morning arrival routine includes a class conversation about what day it is as the corresponding number is hung onto the bulletin board to keep track. At the end of the month they lay them all out and tape them together, roll it all up and save the year in a basket. On the first day back from break, they unroll them all and get to see how long last year was, laying all around the floor of the classroom. With a skip in their step, they parade around "stomping out" the past year and welcoming in the New Year. Happy 2018!
